Guides Hub: Loops, K9, Demo Path

This hub is the map for Rivage on station A.R.E.S. Rivage is a first-person sci-fi puzzle adventure from Montreal’s two-person Exnilo Studio, published by Raw Fury. You play Miranda Vigneau on May 1, 2467, in orbit above planet VESTA, after a space-time anomaly empties the crew roster. The game launches on September 22, 2026 for PC on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Microsoft Store with Xbox Play Anywhere. It is single-player only.

Read these pages in an order that matches how the station actually spends your time. Power, not a death screen, ends a loop. The K9 system is the implant that keeps codes, screenshots, and solved steps when the lights go out. If you still have the Steam demo locally, treat it as a dedicated first-hour path, not a slice of the finished campaign.

How to use this hub

Start with the getting started guide if you have not yet sat down in Miranda’s quarters. That page covers platforms, languages, what to expect from Unreal Engine 5.7.4 presentation, and a first-session plan that does not waste power on locked wings. If your question is “can I still play the demo,” go to the demo notes next. Exnilo pulled the public Steam build after the delay from August 13 to September 22. Local copies still run. Saves do not carry into the full release.

When you want a room-by-room route, open the first-hour walkthrough. It follows the demo path players recorded: quarters, emails, the birthday password reset, the Stardust safe, crew corridor, kitchen, astro lab cube, kitchen anomaly, dock system, the first Time Trickster reset, emergency pharmacy batteries, pod bay, Aman’s key and box, the broken keycard, lobby, jigsaw audio, lobby computer, Aman’s locker, and the color panel. It does not describe the finished game, because that campaign is still ahead of September 22.

Late-demo blockers have their own pages so the hub does not hide them. The color puzzle guide covers the hatch, the exhibition computer, and the contactless K9 update. The A.R.E.S. map lists wall-map rooms and which wings tax power. If you want tone rather than a route, read the preview and first impressions — Metacritic scores are still tbd.

Systems before rooms

Two systems decide whether a loop feels smart or wasted. The time-loop explainer is about station POWER: entering rooms and running machines costs energy, and the arcade cabinet labeled Time Trickster can send you back when the grid is empty. The puzzle catalog is about the toys those rooms contain: gravity, magnetism, time, physical machines, emails, safes, batteries, keycards, audio logs, color panels, cubes, pharmacy cells, pod-bay services, and lockers.

Pair those with the K9 guide so you actually keep what you learned. K9 stores discoveries, screenshots, puzzle solutions, and the flashlight you need when intensity drops. Items on the floor do not come with you. Knowledge does. If you are still arguing with the camera or the interact prompt, read controls for keyboard, mouse, and pad. Rivage ships full controller support and DualSense haptics on PS5. Confirm binds in the in-game remapping menu rather than memorizing a wiki table.

Characters, tools, and launch timing

Guides tell you how to move. Characters tell you why doors stay shut. After one loop, read the players hub and the crew roster for Dahia, Johnny, Aman, and Rafi. Their emails, lockers, and leftover food are the other half of every machine puzzle.

When you are ready to spend a loop on purpose instead of wandering, use the tools hub and the loop planner. Check PC system requirements before launch day: the Steam minimum is Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-9400F or AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti or AMD RX Vega 56, DirectX 12, and 12 GB of storage. The recommended spec steps up to Windows 11, an i5-11400F or Ryzen 5 5600X, 32 GB of RAM, and an RTX 3060 12 GB or RX 6700 XT.

Dates move. The updates hub, release date page, and news log track the August delay, the demo pull, and the September 22 window. Official storefronts and socials live on the links page.

Suggested reading order

Rivage rewards a notebook more than a sprint. This hub exists so you spend the next loop on a new room instead of retyping a code you already earned.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Where should a new Rivage player start?

Read the getting started guide, then the time-loop page so you know that station power, not a death, ends the run. Turn on K9 in the first room.

Is the walkthrough the full Rivage campaign?

No. The walkthrough covers the dedicated demo path as a first-hour route on A.R.E.S. The full game launches on September 22, 2026 and is a larger station mystery.

Does Rivage have multiplayer?

No. Rivage is single-player only. There is no multiplayer mode on Steam, PlayStation 5, or Xbox.

Can I still play the Steam demo?

Exnilo pulled the public demo after the delay. If you already downloaded it, local copies still run. Saves do not carry over. Details are on the demo page.

Which guide explains Time Trickster?

The arcade cabinet that can fire a reset is covered in the time-loop guide and appears during the first-hour walkthrough after power fails.
